An Invitation to Exhibit

The Building Officials Association of South Carolina (BOASC) invites your company to participate as an exhibitor at our 76th Annual Conference. The conference is an excellent opportunity to meet key officials representing South Carolina counties, cities, and towns while introducing attendees to the products, services, and solutions your company provides.

BOASC provides training focused on the challenges of administering and enforcing building and related codes. Exhibitors are an important part of the conference experience and help attendees learn about products and services that can advance construction practices throughout South Carolina.

EXHIBITOR AGREEMENT & INFORMATION

Exhibit-space reservations are subject to acceptance by the Building Officials Association of South Carolina (the “Association”) on or before Sunday, April 18, 2027. Upon acceptance, the reservation constitutes an agreement to use the assigned exhibit space under the following terms.

1. Cost to Exhibit. $700 for exhibit space with up to two people.

2. Character of Exhibits. The Association reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit, part of an exhibit, activity, or conduct within the exhibition area that, in its judgment, is unsuitable. Exhibitors may not play music in the exhibit area.

3. Payment for Space. The Association must receive payment and the executed exhibitor agreement on or before Sunday, April 18, 2027. No cancellation or refund will be made after that date.

4. Subletting of Space. No exhibitor may assign, sublet, or apportion all or any part of the purchased space, or permit another party to exhibit in that space, without written permission from the Association.

5. Installation and Dismantling. Exhibits may be installed after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 25. All exhibits must be removed by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28. The Association will not accept or sign for deliveries. A company representative must be present when freight is delivered. Exhibitors should coordinate directly with the venue regarding electrical service and wireless access.

6. Responsibility and Liability. The Association and/or DoubleTree Resort by Hilton will not be responsible for the safety of exhibits from theft, fire, damage, or other causes. The exhibitor acknowledges that the Association and/or DoubleTree Resort by Hilton shall have no liability arising from the exhibitor's participation and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Association, its officers, agents, and employees from losses, liabilities, judgments, damages, costs, fees, and expenses arising directly or indirectly from this exhibitor agreement or use of exhibit space.

7. Equipment and Supplies. The Association will furnish each exhibitor with one 6-foot table and two chairs.

8. Exhibitor Schedule. Exhibitor activity will take place Sunday, April 25 through Wednesday, April 28. Registration includes two tickets to the Tuesday evening banquet. During Monday's sessions, exhibitors will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and present their products or services. Attendees must have vendor cards signed by each exhibitor to be eligible for door-prize drawings. Each exhibitor will have an opportunity to draw winners from these cards; the Association will provide the vendor cards. Exhibitors are encouraged to remain available throughout the day to meet with attendees.

9. Door Prizes. Exhibitors are encouraged to provide an item for the door-prize drawing. To increase traffic in the exhibit area, attendees must obtain vendor-card signatures from each exhibiting vendor to be eligible for the drawing.
